Third Day

To date... 5 cups of milo, 1 cup of tea, 1 cup of cuppucino...

I must count how many drinks I took from the vending machine during the next 6 months. These numbers excludes those that I drink during lunch. Heng... They are all free! Seriously I have not seen anyone else at the vending machine except me and May. Perhaps those permanent staffs drink until dont want to drink le. Haha!

It's the 3rd day of my IA. Guess what I did today?..... As usual lor, reading exercise! But no choice.. i have to know how their business work at the tip of my fingers. Beside reading and partially dozing off at the desk, I tagged along my supervisor to a meeting which he chairs and of cos it has to involve me as it's my project. Hahaha! I dont know how many hands I have shaken these 3 days. But it was interesting to attend the meeting and how much work and planning behind a petrol station are unexpectedly overwhelming. And for the first time in my life, I get to see a "polycom". It is used for voice confrencing which means that for those who cannot physically be there at the meeting, they can dial a number which they will be connected through the Polycom and taaa-ddaaahhh... their voice can still be heard at the meeting. Somemore no phone bills to worry about.

Next week, I will be going down to a petrol station to do my observation and learn more about their databases. Better than stuck in the office reading non-stop... haha..
