The yummy fruit salad made by Lesley's family maid. *two thumbs up* Creative use of mandarin oranges and walnuts...

Dont drool on your keyboard. More to come...

Chocolate Banana ... with choc melt to the right texture. Too bad, i say no no to banana.

Chicken, marinated with peppermint. Satisfying!

Yummilicious capsicum.. so pretty to look at, so nice to eat. Credits to Jul.. *her two "thumbs" up*

The very soft and tender beef... Ling's favourite.

The logistics officer arrived to inspect whether the pit had been set up appropriately by his ka kia.

The 3rd shift people + the logistic boss. I think I have successfully captured Cehao's gluttony in every almost every photo he was in. (the fella sucking his fork)

Quarter-Life Crisis

Today, I have stumped upon a thread when surfing the forum. (I was really bored with studying process control!)

Quarter-Life Crisis...

Perhaps, to most of us, we only came across the term mid-life crisis. Interestingly, (maybe i was slow or what) there's also something known as Quarter-Life Crisis. Quarter-Life refers to people of age 21-29. From the description of QLC in Wikipedia, i think i have stepped into a quarter-life crisis.. not only me but seems like it occurs to most people around me. QLC seems like inevitable phase we all have to go through. Somehow, everything (including many recent conflicts in school) can be explained by this. We are all suffering from QLC. Or maybe, just begin suffering from this.

Insecurity about near future.. always feeling that everyone is somehow doing better than you... financially rooted stress...frustration with relationship.. These description sounded so familiar.

The FYP conflict.. reveals the insecurities of everyone. Although I never expressed strongly on what had happened, I was upset and frustrated about the unfair competition that was started. Upset and frustrated about the kind of trust and openess we had for each other... But everyone is feeling insecure. Nobody want their project to be snatched away, nobody likes to be slower than their peers, nobody likes to be behind despite saying that they love to keep in comfortable pace. But peer pressure is pushing everyone to step up their pace instead. How weary is that? Is everyone hiding something, including the one closer to you? How much can you trust the people around you? Insecurities...

Anyway, read about OLC.. its real interesting stuffs. We might not be able to avoid OLC.. but at least cope with it was the the best we can do.

-Club mission: To achieve the million bucks in the annual angbao toto draw and change the club name to Young Millionaires Club.

-Member qualification: *The ability to dream (of what to do with the prize money) is a must. *Age between 20-25

-Membership fee: currently at 50 cents (payable as and when theres' 10 million dollars toto draw ) (Note that subjected to fee revision.

Today was the 10 million toto draw. Few days back, 14 of us bought 2 sets of 7 toto numbers just to participate in the fun of the 10 million angbao toto. Today, we bought another set of 7 numbers which we picked the number ourselves. Think all of us got so excited when we get together and started to think about what to do with the money if we won .... and CH even joking that he wanted to go home early to pack his bag just in case he needs to run away with the winning tickets.... And on Lun's car, we were waiting desperately and nervously for the toto results to be announce on the radio..(only to realise that the results were released after 930pm.)

Now i finally understand why my parents keep up with their 4Ds every week despite complaining to me that it's wasting so much money and they will quit betting on 4D numbers. It's buying a hope that makes you happy and winning to thrill you further.

Btw, we got 3 winning numbers right for the set we bought today. And 2 out of the 3 winning numbers were those numbers which i picked! OMG! But nvm.. everything in the name of fun... and haha.. better luck next time!
